Visit to Natural History Museum

Our 5th and 6th grade students had the wonderful opportunity to travel via charter bus into DC to visit the Natural History Museum for a Q'RIUS program on Collections. The group used the scientific method to explore some of the millions of objects at the Museum and worked in small groups using microscopes to learn. After the program, we walked around, observing the Mammals, Ocean, Human Evolution, the Hope Diamond and gems, and ended our day in the Butterfly Garden. It was a great day of learning for our budding scientists!!
