Great Country Farms Field Trip

Our students in grades 7-8 (Wednesday) and in grade 5-6 (Thursday) took a trip to Great Country Farms in Bluemont, VA for a wonderful day of apple picking and exploring the farm. We rode the wagon to the orchards and were impressed with how many different types of apples were ripe and ready to be carefully picked from the trees. We also got to taste-test the delicious cider that is made there. We then had the huge jumping pillows all to ourselves and loved the new obstacle courses. The baby goats were exceptionally cute and then it was time to head back to school. The weather was perfect for this early fall activity. We will be back in October for pumpkin picking!
