K-2 Field Trip to the Children’s Science Center

Our K-2 students transformed into researchers, scientists, and engineers last week on our field trip to the Children’s Science Center in Fair Oaks. Students tinkered with hovercrafts engineered using minimal tools and materials then experimented with chemical reactions giving life to magnetic slime. In addition to their creations and experiments, students actively researched various forms of energy from potential and kinetic to the sustainable sources we use to power the country everyday! Students had an exceptional and educational trip to the Science Center and hope to return soon!
