Cornerstones Lunch Prep

All students at The Newton School had the opportunity to support a local organization, Cornerstones, a non-profit organization in Reston, VA that works to strengthen our community and help families living in crisis rebuild their self-sufficiency, resiliency and hope. Our students worked hard to prepare more than 180 lunches (that's 360 sandwiches - 720 pieces of bread!) with healthy snacks to support this wonderful local initiative. This is a great way for all of us to learn to give back in a meaningful way.
