Mentoring Book Exchange

Our 8th grade students took a trip to Barnes & Noble at the Tysons Mall last week to purchase a book for the students in Kindergarten, first and second grade that they have been mentoring this year. They took their time and explored books about sharks, unicorns, sports and princesses to come up with the perfect gifts. After spending time wrapping the items (the hardest part!), they presented their gifts to the younger students yesterday during their weekly mentoring time. Following this, they all took a trip to the Book Fair to work on their book wish lists. Such a lovely and adorable set of events!
