My Pet Alpaca Visits The Newton School

The Newton School had 3 special (and fluffy!) visitors last week to the Lower School. Animal expert and trainer, Jay with My Pet Alpaca, chaperoned a visit with our new friends Truffle and Teddy! Truffle and Teddy are two full grown alpacas who also brought their buddy, Snickers, the baby goat. Students learned all about the origins and abilities of the mighty alpaca while Jay instructed us on the proper way to feed and pet our new fuzzy friends! A caring and educational time was had by all and our students were sad to see Truffle, Teddy, and Snickers return to their farm at the end of the afternoon.
