What’s it like to be an astronaut!?

Dan Tani (father of John in 7th grade) came to The Newton School to talk about his NASA career. Dan provided lots of information - how he became an astronaut, the training required, and what it was like in space without gravity - including how to brush your teeth (swallow the toothpaste!), eat your meals, and use the bathroom (a very creative solution with a fan...). He was also incredibly motivational - highlighting examples of women in leadership, citing high school internships and encouraging all types of careers at NASA.
