Fire Marshall Visit
We had a wonderful visit with Fire Marshall Lisa from the Loudoun County Fire Department Station 24. She gave a lovely presentation on fire safety both in the home and at school, and wanted me to remind you about some of the items we reviewed here with your children:
– Check your smoke detectors to make sure they are working and have batteries that are charged. These should be replaced every 10 years.
– Every house should have an evacuation plan, just as we do here.
– Every child should know their address and a phone number.
The students were AWESOME at knowing when and how to call 911. -:)
The fire truck and the hats were the highlights, of course!
